How the both-houses plan works

Hello House and Godin House stand side by side in the same lane, about 5 seconds apart on foot. Groups of 27–38 gather and cook in the 1F island kitchen at Hello House, then split between the two houses to sleep; all 9 rooms have their own bathroom, with 34 guests as standard and extra beds for 35–38. They are two different B&Bs that differ in price, size and room level, not two equal houses: please make sure the plan suits your group before booking, and decide in advance who sleeps in which house.

  • Every whole-house plan is for one group only: you never share any space with other guests.

For the exact total, enter your dates and group size for a live quote.

Which whole-house stay should we choose, and how many rooms are there?

By group size: 4–12 guests, Godin House (4 rooms); 8–26 guests, Hello House (5 rooms, 1F island kitchen); 27–38 guests, both houses (9 rooms in all, 34 as standard, extra beds for 35–38). Every option is a whole house for your group only, and every room has its own bathroom.

Where should a group of 8 stay?

Groups of 8 can start with Godin House and its floor-by-floor layout (7–8 guests on weekdays from NT$8,800); if cooking together in an island kitchen matters more, compare Hello House (8 guests on weekdays from NT$11,300).

How do 12 guests split into rooms?

Groups of 12 usually start with Godin House: its 4 rooms are 2 doubles and 2 quads, all with their own bathroom. If your group wants a bigger shared space for hot pot or mahjong, compare Hello House; neither house has an elevator.

Where can 20 or more guests stay together in Kaohsiung?

Hello House suits 8–26 guests (19–20 guests on weekdays from NT$20,300); both houses suit 27–38, with 34 as standard and extra beds for 35–38. For more than 38 guests, please ask us to arrange it.

Is there a whole-house stay with an elevator?

Hello House, Godin House and the both-houses plan, everything you can book with Hello Stay now, have no elevator: you use the stairs inside. Godin House has a 1F double room with no stairs for older guests; Dazhi Ruoyu, still in planning, is not yet open for booking.

Can we have a barbecue or karaoke?

None of the houses you can book has an outdoor barbecue area, karaoke or a large sound system, and to keep the historic Yancheng neighborhood quiet, please keep the noise down after 23:00. There are manual mahjong tables, board games and smart TVs, and you can cook in the 1F island kitchen at Hello House.

Can we bring pets?

Small cats and dogs are welcome with our prior approval; the cleaning fee is NT$800 per pet. Please tell us when you book.

Whole-house stay or hotel: which suits us better?

For a big group that wants to eat, talk or do things together in the evening, a whole house is usually simpler than several hotel rooms: the whole house is for your group only, and every room has its own bathroom. It depends on your dates, group size, whether you need a kitchen, and whether you will use the shared space.

Which part of Kaohsiung should we look at first?

Both Hello Stay houses are on Lane 70, Dagong Road in Yancheng District, about 7 minutes' walk to Yanchengpu MRT Station, 13 minutes to Pier-2 Art Center and 20 minutes to the Great Harbor Bridge. If you would rather stay in Xinxing, Gushan or another district, please compare places to stay there.
